SEWS - Farmington Hills, Michigan Office. Although located at SEWS - Farmington Hills Office, this is a Hybrid position, which combines both in office and off-site work. Associates are required to work at least four days in the office each week, but also have the flexibility to work off-site.
JOB TITLE: SBM (Solutions Business Manager) Administrator / Project Coordinator
BASIC PURPOSE:
The Project Coordinator (SBM Administrator) supports the North American OEM business unit by administering and maintaining the SBM system, including user onboarding, basic training, troubleshooting, data corrections, and workflow support. This role also develops and maintains custom notifications, reports, and dashboards, supports program registration, and partners with internal and external teams to help ensure effective system performance and business process support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Modify and maintain the Solutions Business Manager (SBM) admin system used by SEWS Global OEM cross-functional teams to support daily business operations and evolving needs.
  2. Manage SBM change requests through internal ticket tracking tool, review requests for feasibility, prioritize work with requestor(s), and drive timely resolution in alignment with team expectations.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to define new system requirements, workflows, and process changes; coordinate meetings with appropriate SMEs and document needed updates.
  4. Support new users with system access, navigation, and foundational SBM processes to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and consistent system usage.
  5. Maintain comprehensive SBM documentation and training materials for current and new applications, process updates, and end-user support resources.
  6. Own SBM front-end design and infrastructure, including system settings, user permissions, and overall usability to ensure a user-friendly and effective interface.
  7. Work with the SBM developer to create and execute user testing in the test environment, ensuring all changes are reviewed, validated, and ready for production release.
  8. Lead troubleshooting and issue resolution efforts for user issues, workflow issues, system questions, and data corrections, escalating to OpenText support when needed.
  9. Proactively identify system inefficiencies and enhancement opportunities, propose solutions, create SBM outputs as needed, and support testing for production releases and workflow improvements.
  10. Serve as the liaison between SEWS and the SBM provider OpenText, maintaining regular communication on system capabilities, new features, enhancement needs, and unresolved issues.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting workflow-based systems and system administration/configuration is preferred, as well as strong customer support capabilities.
