Encore Resort at Reunion is the first of its kind in curated resort residences. A private resort community near Disney in Orlando, Encore elevates the vacation rental experience by bridging the gap between hotel and peer-to-peer lodging.

As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages and other specialty drinks in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards.
2. Ensure the proper grinding, tamping, and extraction of coffee to consistently deliver excellent taste and quality.
3. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and accurately processing payments.
4. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about our menu offerings and making recommendations based on their preferences.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee preparation station, equipment, and dining area.
6. Monitor and restock inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies to ensure uninterrupted service.
7. Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices, to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service during peak hours.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, new coffee blends, and brewing techniques to enhance your knowledge and provide an exceptional coffee experience to customers.
10. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
2. Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques.
3. Familiarity with espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in drink preparation.
7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
8. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
9. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (e.g., bags of coffee beans).
