Location: Intercity Lines, Inc - Brookfield, MA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Intercity Lines, Inc. is America's premier enclosed auto transport company. We are a family-owned business that has specialized in shipping cars nationwide since 1980. We run a fleet of enclosed auto transport trailers that are all serviced, maintained, and repaired in our shop in Brookfield, MA. We have a great, experienced team that services these semi-trailers, and we are looking to add a dedicated Trailer Mechanic to that team.
We are looking for an individual with mechanical knowledge and experience to work with our team servicing, repairing, and diagnosing our enclosed auto transport trailers at our Brookfield, MA location. Experience working on semi-trailers is a plus, but more importantly we are looking for someone who is dependable, a team player, and willing to learn how we do things and the standards we hold ourselves to. This can be a very fast-paced environment, so being able to stay meticulous and ensure everything is done right at all times is key.
What You'll Do
Service, repair, and maintain our enclosed auto transport semi-trailers
Diagnose trailer issues and complete quality repairs in a timely, organized manner.
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to keep our trailers safe, reliable, and road-ready.
Work closely with a small, experienced team and follow the standards and processes we've developed in-house.
Help keep the shop clean, organized, and safe while taking pride in the workmanship that represents our company on the road.
What We're Looking For
Mechanical experience and solid mechanical knowledge.
Semi-trailer, truck, or heavy equipment experience is a plus.
Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player.
Willingness to learn our methods and maintain our high standards.
Ability to stay meticulous and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to reliably drive to and from work at our Brookfield, MA shop.
Schedule and Work Environment
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.
35-hour workweek, with some overtime opportunities depending on workload.
Stable, year-round shop work on our own fleet (no random walk-in work).
