Job description

CDL Garbage Truck Driver - Leesville, LA
Starting Pay: $21 per hour, starting wage is competitive for the area and may be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
Pay Schedule: Every Friday - no waiting around.
Overtime: Anything over 40 hours a week gets you time-and-a-half, that's $31/hour.
Waste Connections is hiring CDL Drivers at our Leesville hauling site. In this role, you'll operate a garbage truck to safely and efficiently service commercial and/or residential routes. We're looking for someone who puts safety first and takes pride in doing the job right.
What You'll Do:
  • Operate a garbage truck on assigned routes
  • Collect waste or recycling from local businesses or homes
  • Work in all weather conditions
  • Deliver dependable service with a safety-first mindset

Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays
  • Start time: 4:45 a.m., 10-11 hour days, 50-55 hours a week

What You Need:
  • A Class A or B CDL
  • 2+ year of CDL driving experience
  • A clean driving record and strong safety awareness
  • Solid customer service skills and a team-player mindset
