As aProduct Marketing Manager,Civil you will play an integral role within CAE's Marketingteam. By thoroughly understanding our customers' needs; advocating for ourproducts, services & solutions; and clearly crafting the value propositions of our products and services, you will be equipped to develop innovative, compelling deliverables such as product messaging, marketing collateral, sales enablement materials and thought leadership content to support the growth of the Civil Aviation business unit.


Positioning

  • Be the expert on the markets,buyersand end usersthat we partner with
  • Create product positioning and messaging that illustrates howoursolutionsmeet our customers' needs and how they are differentiated from others in the market
  • Develop and communicate the value proposition of our solutions both internally and externally, develop sales enablement tools/training that advances the selling process, andassistsales teams on calls whenappropriate toprovide a deeper understanding of our products and services
  • Working collaboratively, create meaningful content and resources to differentiate CAE's products and services from the competition (i.e., data sheets, infographics, solution briefs, white papers, webinars, web content, presentations, sales documentation, product videos, social media posts, release announcements)
  • Follow and evaluate competitor and market trends toidentifypotential new capabilities and best position our products and solutions

Go-to-Market

  • Collaborating with the Marketing Strategist, plan, execute and manage the cross-functional implementation of go-to-market strategies that deliver growth and an excellent customer experience
  • Develop and provide decision support for market strategies as needed for various projects and stakeholders, including Directors and VPs

MarketInsights

  • Contribute to management of sources of market, customer, and competitor data
  • Attend industry conferences to gain market insights, understand customer needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Abachelor'sdegree inbusiness,marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience in B2B product marketing.
  • Familiarity with aviationor defense &securitytraining industry
  • Extensive knowledge in market segmentation, product positioning, strategic planning, and value propositions. Experience in market analysis
  • A deep understanding of effective sales enablement and various sales collaterals
  • Robust skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel are a minimum

  • Bilingual (French-English)
  • Exceptional written and verbal storytelling skills, and the ability to take complex concepts and explain them simply and briefly
  • A knack for creating compelling, differentiated, and memorable product narratives, and the ability to coach others to do the same

  • Passion for collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • The ability to influence colleagues with thought leadership
