Physical Therapist Clinic Director

Job Description

A growing outpatient physical therapy practice is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Clinic Director for its Winchester, VA clinic.

This role combines hands-on patient care with clinical leadership and clinic growth. You will treat patients one-on-one, develop personalized treatment plans, and use manual therapy, strengthening, movement-based care, and education to support recovery.

This is a strong opportunity for a physical therapist who enjoys independent outpatient work and wants to help build a clinic with a high standard of patient care.

Schedule

Monday-Friday

9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Patient Volume

Full caseload is approximately 12 visits per 8-hour day.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatment 
  • Lead clinical care for the clinic location 
  • Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans 
  • Treat athletes, children, adults, gym members, and medical referrals 
  • Use manual therapy, movement, strengthening, and patient education 
  • Apply mobilization, manipulation, cupping, soft tissue massage, instrument-assisted massage, and dry needling when appropriate 
  • Use the integrated fitness facility to support functional recovery 
  • Complete documentation in Athena Health 
  • Help grow the clinicโ€™s caseload and local presence 
  • Work independently without aides or technicians 

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required 
  • Masterโ€™s degree preferred 
  • Active PT license required 
  • Outpatient experience preferred 
  • Strong manual therapy interest or experience 
  • Comfortable working independently 
  • Willingness to support clinic outreach and caseload growth 
  • Strong communication and patient care skills 
  • Motivated, professional, and growth-minded
