Registered Nurse (RN) – Contract Opportunities (California)

Locations: Victorville, Los Angeles, Covina, West Covina, Torrance, CA Specialties: ER, Med Surg, L&D, NICU, Telemetry Schedule: 3×12‑hour shifts weekly Contract Length: 13‑week contract with potential extension

Overview

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses across multiple specialties to support our partner hospitals throughout Southern California. These contract roles are ideal for RNs who excel in fast‑paced clinical environments and are committed to delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence‑based patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality nursing care aligned with specialty standards (ER, Med Surg, L&D, NICU, Tele).
  • Perform assessments, administer medications, and carry out clinical interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
  • Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection‑control protocols.
Requirements
  • Active California RN license.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience in the specialty you are applying for.
  • Current BLS certification; additional specialty certifications preferred (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.).
  • Strong communication, critical‑thinking, and clinical assessment skills.
  • Ability to work 12‑hour shifts consistently throughout the contract.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in high‑volume or acute‑care hospital settings.
  • Specialty certifications (TNCC, ENPC, RNC‑NIC, RNC‑OB, etc.).
