Facility: Adventist Health Sierra Vista
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (Exempt Position)
Schedule: Monday–Friday with on-call responsibilities; occasional night shift coverage required; service line call every 3rd week
Pay Rate: $102–$105/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay: $4,080–$4,200/week (Based on 40 hours/week)

Job Summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista is seeking an experienced NICU RN Manager to lead daily clinical and operational functions of a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing staff, driving quality and patient safety initiatives, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring successful workflow management. Candidates must have current Epic EMR experience and experience managing through an EMR conversion to Epic.


Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of NICU management experience

  • Experience managing a Level III NICU preferred

  • Experience leading an EMR conversion to Epic

  • Current Epic EMR experience required

  • Strong leadership, staffing, budgeting, and quality improvement experience

  • Ability to participate in night call coverage and service line call rotation

  • Acute care hospital leadership experience


Required Credentials
  • Active California RN License

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • BLS Certification

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

  • PALS Certification

  • National Nursing Leadership or NICU Specialty Certification preferred
