As a remote position located within a school system, this role provides the flexibility of working from home while collaborating closely with educational staff and mental health professionals. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health conditions, identifying needs and creating personalized treatment plans based on these evaluations.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Collaborate with team members, ensuring integrated care through regular meetings and consistent communication to address client progress.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and strategies for encouraging participation in their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations while contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.

The focus of our mental health counseling services extends to a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. You will engage with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various behavioral challenges. Your ability to connect with clients from varied backgrounds is essential, ensuring that our services are culturally competent and inclusive.

• A valid and current license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferable.
• Demonstrated expertise in mental health counseling, ideally with a focus on specific populations or disorders.
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based practices and methodologies that inform treatment approaches.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a capacity to foster rapport and trust with clients and their families.

• At least two years of demonstrated experience in the mental health field, offering insight into the complexities of individual and group therapy.
• Experience working within a remote setting or telehealth platform, utilizing technology to enhance client engagement.
