The Employee Benefits Specialist will provide administrative support for employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and leave management.


This role assists employees with benefits-related inquiries, maintains accurate records, coordinates enrollments, and supports compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.


The individual in this role will have the opportunity to advance to a Benefits Manager position, with strong performance!


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Process benefits-related paperwork and maintain employee records.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, and other benefit programs.
  • Coordinate open enrollment activities and employee communications.
  • Assist with short-term disability and workers' compensation documentation.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators regarding employee benefits issues.
  • Audit benefits records and invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare reports related to benefits, participation, and costs.
  • Support the Payroll and HR department with special projects and benefits initiatives.


Experience

  • 3-5 years of administrative, HR, or benefits experience preferred.
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now is a plus
