This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.
The GBS Organization provides services to the Booking Holdings Brands, which consist of Enterprise Program and Change Management, Process Excellence, and Global Process Ownership, to name a few. The GBS Organization is seeking a Project Manager to join their Enterprise Project Management team.
This vital layer within the EPMO is directly responsible for translating strategic vision into tangible results by driving disciplined project delivery and execution. This role requires an experienced Program Manager to lead strategic project execution by partnering with stakeholders to define the vision, goals, and measurable KPIs. You will manage end-to-end project P&L and budget optimization while actively owning the project's risk management strategy. Success includes leading cross-functional teams and establishing the formal executive governance structure to ensure informed decision-making and optimal ROI.
In this role you will get to:
  • As a Program Manager, you have a proven track record of leading multiple, large-scale, company-wide programs within global organizations of 10,000+ employees. You have successfully spearheaded complex, multi-year initiatives in areas such as business transformation, technology innovation, AI integration, and regulatory compliance, while leveraging best-practice methodologies.
  • You are a relationship builder and collaborator who achieves strategic results by working closely with peers and cross-functional teams across the organization. You bring extensive experience establishing strong, productive partnerships with Director-level leadership and above, with a demonstrated ability to successfully guide, advise, and constructively challenge stakeholders when necessary.
  • You are a very effective communicator (written and spoken), ensuring clear, timely and impactful communication is created, tailored to the needs of varying audiences. You are comfortable presenting to (senior) leadership.
  • You are dedicated to partnering with the customer to understand their true requirements and needs. You ensure the program consistently delivers a high-quality end-user experience through predictable, reliable execution and continuous follow-up.

A successful Program Manager in this role will demonstrate the following soft skills:
  • Attitude: You have a positive attitude and are focused on achieving progress and moving things forward
  • Accountable: Take complete ownership of initiatives from conception to execution. You maintain sharp attention to detail while holding cross-functional teams accountable for delivering high-quality, measurable business results.
  • Proactive: You don't just manage a timeline; you anticipate it. You look around corners to identify hidden risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks before they disrupt execution. By maintaining a forward-looking view, you establish mitigation strategies early, optimize resource allocation, and pivot smoothly to keep complex initiatives on track.
  • Managing Ambiguity: You have the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. You are comfortable translating vague or evolving high-level goals into concrete, actionable program roadmaps and execution plans.
  • Problem solving: You are able to timely recognize challenges and opportunities and to define an end-to-end plan to address them (from analysis to solution to implementation to adoption), including acquiring buy-in/support from stakeholders.
  • Influencing without authority: Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, drive alignment, and motivate diverse stakeholders toward shared program goals without direct organizational command.
  • Managing conflict: You are adept at identifying friction points across cross-functional teams and proactively facilitating constructive discussions to resolve open issues (e.g. resource constraints, alignment on key decisions, competing priorities)

What you have:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Advanced job knowledge ( 5-8 years)
  • PMP Certification
  • Practical experience in managing projects through full SDLC
  • SmartSheet knowledge is a plus
  • Jira knowledge is a plus
