Senior Associate / Engagement Manager - Strategic Accounts (Seattle)

Job type: Full Time · Department: CSM Global · Work type: On-Site

Seattle, Washington, United States

About Goodera

Goodera is the world’s leading employee volunteering platform, powering companies to scale employee volunteering experiences globally through our innovative technology platform and unique operating model. With a presence in over 100 countries and support for 30+ languages, we connect over 500 clients, including 60+ Fortune 500 companies, with meaningful volunteer opportunities tailored to their communities. To date, our impact has reached over 10 million beneficiaries, powered by 1 million+ employee volunteers and a network of 50,000+ nonprofit partners. Growing at 100% year on year, we are backed by top investors including Zoom Ventures, Elevation Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, Omidyar Network, and Ursula Burns.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Associate/Engagement Manager to own and grow relationships with some of the largest companies in the world: Fortune 500 enterprises with 100,000+ employees across the globe. These are flagship, high-visibility partnerships, and how you run them shapes the way a global brand experiences Goodera.

This isn't a traditional account-management role, and it isn't a desk job. You'll be the face of these accounts, and the person who makes their volunteering programs actually happen: the advisor your clients call first, the strategist behind the program, and the operator on the ground when events come to life. Just as importantly, you'll be the one running the engine behind the scenes, working inside your clients' own systems to book the rooms, file the requests, configure the events, and keep the documentation clean so that nothing slips.

You'll pull together Goodera's global delivery teams, and you'll be there in person to run the room, manage day-of execution, and solve problems as they come up. The work sits where relationship-building, program strategy, and hands-on execution meet. You'll partner closely with our Operations, Supply, Content, and host teams to keep every engagement on track.

What You'll Do

Own the relationship

  • Act as a lead for your portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, building lasting trust with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Advise clients on their social impact strategy, bringing a senior, consultative voice to every conversation.

  • Nurture long-term relationships that set these accounts up for renewal and growth.

Run events on the ground

  • Support execution of critical events on-site from start to finish: coordinate on-site logistics with our operations and host teams, from materials and check-in through to wrap-up.

  • Coordinate with the client's facilities, security, and mail/shipping functions to clear access, deliveries, and on-site setup ahead of each event.

  • Roll up your sleeves to solve problems in real time, adapt quickly when plans change, and do what it takes to deliver a great experience.

  • Be the senior Goodera presence in the room for clients, volunteers, and nonprofit partners.

Work inside client systems and run the admin engine

  • Configure and manage events in the client's volunteer-management platform, including event setup, registration, capacity management, and participant communications.

  • Own the behind-the-scenes requests that make events happen: room and venue bookings, facilities, security, catering, and mail or shipment coordination, submitted and tracked through the client's internal tools and request systems.

  • Manage registration end-to-end and stand up systems to collect and analyze participant and partner feedback after each event.

  • Build and maintain client-specific wikis, SOPs, templates, and checklists, keeping them current, accurate, and quality-checked.

  • Keep planning calendars and pipeline status up to date so anyone can see what's booked, what's pending, and what's at risk.

Shape the strategy and delivery

  • Build and run tailored account plans aligned to each client's goals, metrics, and impact ambitions, turning one-off events into year-round programs.

  • Run quarterly planning cycles and forecast inventory by city and location against upcoming campaigns, curating new volunteer experiences where there are gaps in demand.

  • Coordinate Goodera's program, operations, supply, content, and host teams to plan and deliver large-scale volunteering events, owning timelines, logistics, and stakeholder alignment from kickoff to recap.

  • Hold a high bar for quality and a smooth experience at every participant touchpoint.

Track performance

  • Monitor program health and key metrics such as participation, satisfaction, impact, and cost efficiency, and turn them into clear stories for clients and internal teams.

  • Produce regular (typically monthly) metrics reporting covering events executed and planned, volunteers engaged, cost per volunteer, impact, and satisfaction.

  • Spot risks and delivery gaps early, and resolve them with urgency and clear communication.

Collaborate across teams

  • Be the voice of the client inside Goodera, shaping how we improve our platform, playbooks, and event experience.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years in engagement management, enterprise account management, client success, strategy, consulting, or a senior client-facing role, ideally with large, complex accounts in a startup setting.

  • A hands-on operator who is energized by being on-site and running live events, not managing only from behind a desk.

  • Comfort living inside enterprise internal tooling: volunteer or event platforms, room-booking and facilities systems, and request or ticketing forms, with the patience and accuracy to get the paperwork right the first time.

  • Strong process and admin discipline: maintaining SOPs, templates, trackers, and clean documentation that other people can rely on.

  • A track record of owning enterprise relationships and delivering measurable results in retention, growth, or strategic impact.

  • A natural relationship builder and storyteller with strong executive presence, comfortable leading client rooms and senior conversations.

  • Excellent project management instincts, with the ability to create structure across several concurrent workstreams.

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your message to any audience.

  • An ownership mindset and the ability to manage a valued book of business independently.

  • Comfortable in the thick of live events: on your feet, problem-solving, and staying calm when plans change.

  • Genuine passion for social impact and for bringing people together to do good.

  • Experience executing events end-to-end, with the instinct to anticipate problems and the resourcefulness to fix them on the fly.

  • Background in CSR, employee engagement, or events is a plus.

Logistics

Travel is part of this role. You should be comfortable traveling up to 40% for client and event moments.

Because this is a hands-on, event-facing role, you'll need flexibility around event days, including the occasional evening or weekend.

This role reports into Goodera leadership while partnering day-to-day with each client's program and regional managers. On some accounts you may be issued a client email address and internal-system access, and you'll be expected to respond promptly (often within one business day), to keep client data only on approved systems, and to follow each client's confidentiality, data-security, and media policies.

We're a global team with a global client base, so some schedule flexibility is a must: Monday through Friday, with occasional availability before or after standard hours when needed.

Compensation

The position offers a base salary of $90,000 to $95,000 per year plus a comprehensive benefits package.
