About the Position: MLC is seeking a Workforce Development Coordinator to join its Human Resources team. The position will develop and manage onboarding programs to improve new employee integration and reduce early turnover. The coordinator will also support performance management, employee development, leadership coaching, workforce training, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.The role will include identifying training needs, creating and presenting professional development opportunities, monitoring workforce trends and training outcomes, and using employee development metrics to support informed decision-making. The coordinator will also assist with personnel actions in SPAHRS, MAGIC EC, and NEOGOV, as well as processing travel-related payments and reimbursements.
What you'll need to be Successful: Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, the ability to build effective working relationships, and a commitment to employee development and engagement. .
Preferred Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience. Agency preferred qualifications:Experience with SPAHRS, MAGIC EC, NEOGOV, and MSPB performance review systems is preferred. Candidates should have experience creating and presenting staff training, mentoring employees, and providing coaching and support. A bachelor's degree and two to four years of relevant experience are typically required.Experience with state personnel systems and performance management processes will be valuable in supporting the organization's workforce and leadership goals

Paid Personal Leave and Sick LeaveFull-time employees receive paid time off for personal needs and for sick leave. Leave begins accruing after one month of employment and may be used as it is accrued. Employees earn approximately 18 days of personal leave annually and 12 days of sick leave annually.

In accordance with federal law, all employees serving in the armed forces or the military reserves are entitled to 15 days per year for military training.
