Primary Location: Sunrise Skilled Nursing & Rehab (supporting Sunrise and a nearby partner facility)
Position: Full-Time

Sunrise Skilled Nursing & Rehab is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Director of Business Development (DBD) to join our leadership team in a multi-facility role supporting admissions growth, referral development, and community outreach for Sunrise Skilled Nursing & Rehab and a nearby partner facility.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, driving occupancy growth, and collaborating with multiple leadership teams to make a meaningful impact across more than one skilled nursing community.

Your Role
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospital case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and referral partners
  • Drive admissions growth and referral development for multiple skilled nursing facilities
  • Manage referrals and support the admissions process from inquiry through admission
  • Coordinate with Business Office teams regarding insurance verification and eligibility
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to achieve occupancy and census goals
  • Conduct facility tours, assessments, and follow-up with prospective residents and families
  • Support community outreach and marketing initiatives
  • Participate in strategic planning focused on admissions growth
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity
  • Help improve referral conversion and customer experience
Who We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, admissions, or long-term care business development preferred
  • Experience working with hospital referral sources strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities across multiple facilities
  • Passionate about resident-centered care and driving facility growth
