Job description

Position Summary

This role will be responsible for nurturing inbound leads while also leveraging various tools to generate outbound prospects. Additionally, they will work closely with the Purchasing Manager and Manufacturing Engineer to monitor client orders, ensuring they remain on schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Identify 10 new leads per month via prospecting tools and add them to company CRM.

  2. Secure at least 1 new external business opportunity per year with a new client via outbound prospecting.

  3. Manage and strengthen relationships with existing clients.

  4. Use client order history to help anticipate inventory and future orders.

  5. Travel to meet clients (prospective and current). Maintain and update client visit calendar.

  6. Proof and check accuracy of outbound client documents i.e. proposal, inspection data, etc.

  7. Walk new clients through proposals during live virtual or in-person meetings

  8. Record and transcribe important internal and client meetings using company tools.

  9. Help the company reachitsYOY sales goal of 12%.

  10. Input accurate CRM data to improve quoting efficiency.

  11. Complete all customer/account/deal records in the CRM to maintain accuracy.

  12. Leverage internal tools help manage client projects.

  13. Respond to leads and clients within 2 hours maximum.

  14. Flag client issues and high priority requests to management within the same day.

  15. Demonstrate and continue to expand technical knowledge of metal products.

  16. Complete 1 new sales training course annually as provided by management.

  17. All other duties as assigned by CEO and COO.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High school diploma required; College Degree Preferred

  • Proven track record in B2B sales

  • Availability Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm eastern standard time

  • Ability to reliably commute to company headquarters

  • Excellent writing, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

  • Experience with CRM software (FreshSales, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Experience with lead generation tools (LinkedIn Navigator, RocketReach, etc.)

  • Fluent in English

  • Authorization to work in the United States (the Company is unable to sponsor work visas
