We specialize in Retirement/Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Rehabilitation Therapy, Respite Care, Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care , services. We are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team.


Regency Pacific Management, LLC seeks a Benefits Manager to join our team and plan, implement, and manage employee benefits programs, policies, and procedures across our 39 locations in Washington, Oregon, California, and Hawaii. This role ensures that our benefits programs meet employee needs while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.


The Benefits Manager serves as the primary administrator of employee benefits and a trusted resource for employees, insurance carriers, brokers, and internal stakeholders. This position also serves as a designated backup for payroll and requires hands-on experience with Paycom payroll software.


Responsibilities

Benefits Administration

  • Administer employee benefits programs for the organization.
  • Update existing benefit policies and introduce new programs as needed.
  • Ensure benefit plans remain competitive and aligned with employee needs and organizational objectives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party vendors to resolve benefit-related issues.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment activities, employee communications, and benefit education initiatives.
  • Keep employees informed regarding benefit plans, procedures, and policies.
  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and ensure accurate enrollment and billing records.
  • Administer and oversee the company's 401(k) retirement plan, including employee communications, compliance, and vendor coordination.
  • Answer employee questions and help resolve issues by clarifying benefit policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state regulations governing employee benefit programs.

Payroll Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the designated backup for Paycom payroll processing.
  • Process payroll as needed during planned and unplanned payroll staff absences.
  • Review payroll registers, employee earnings, deductions, benefit deductions, and timekeeping records for accuracy.
  • Audit payroll data and identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate benefit deductions and payroll integrations in Paycom.
  • Assist with payroll tax reporting, garnishments, and other payroll-related processes as needed.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Finance to ensure timely and accurate payroll administration.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll and compensation information.


Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Experience administering employee health and welfare benefit programs.
  • Experience overseeing and administering a 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Required: Hands-on experience processing payroll using Paycom payroll software.
  • Experience reviewing and auditing payrolls and identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes, wage and hour compliance, and benefit deductions.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits, benefits administration, and related compliance requirements.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
