JOB DESCRIPTION: EMIS COORDINATOR
Description:
The EMIS Coordinator oversees the management of all EMIS functions in the Federal Hocking District. Additionally, s/he works collaboratively with building and district level staff to ensure all student information data is appropriately entered and that all state testing materials are ordered. Supervised by the District Treasurer.
Duties:
The duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
1.Adhere to EMIS processing schedules.
2.Assist district staff with understanding and interpretation of EMIS reports.
3.Attend EMIS Coordinator and Infinite Campus (SIS) meetings, seminars, workshops, etc. to maintain accurate knowledge of EMIS requirements as needed.
4.Run reports from EMIS as requested by the Superintendent and Treasurer.
5.Monitor, adhere to, and distribute all state and federal changes to EMIS reporting.
6.Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and transfer of district, building, staff, student, course, and financial data to EMIS.
7.Assuring that local EMIS data student count agrees with the Treasurer's reports.
8.Prepare and submit SF14 and SF14H reports semi-annually in order to receive funding for Foster and Court Placed students.
9.Act as a liaison between Federal Hocking Local Schools and the district's ITC site, META
10.S.I.S. Coordinator - Go to trainings and answer questions that secretaries, teachers and administrators have concerning entering data into our student information system, Infinite Campus.
11.Local Report Cards - enter data and maintain the statistics of the district information concerning AYP, Graduation data, No Kids Left Behind data, Value Added data, and all data that is reported in the Local Report Card.
12.Enroll all new students in the district into Infinite Campus and maintain current enrollment data. Which includes homeschool, intra/inter-district enrollment, community school enrollment, foster/court placed enrollment, etc.
13.District Test Coordinator - order tests for OST, OELPA, Alternative Assessments, and 3rd grade fall testing. Distribute as books and supplies come in and order them to be picked up after getting them packed and ready to be sent back to be assessed.
14.Order PRE ID-labels for all testing in the district. OAA, OST, Alt Assessments, 3rd grade Fall testing.
15.Manage student rosters in all testing sites such as TIDE, MAP, iReady, KRA, ACT, WebXam, etc.
16.OEDSA - Enter administrators into the online directory for ODE and OH|ID (previously SAFE) accounts.
Qualifications:
Qualifications for this position include the following:
1.Experience with EMIS or similar management systems.
2.Proficiency in state supported software programs, management skills, and keyboarding with accuracy.
3.Excellent Microsoft Office skills, moderate Google Workspace skills. Strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
4.Ability to work well with others.
5.Strong teamwork skills with members of Administrative Staff.
6.Knowledge in use of technology to achieve best educational outcomes for Federal Hocking Schools.
7.Associates Degree preferred.
8.3 to 5 years accounting experience.
Additional Working Conditions:
This is a two hundred sixty (260) day position.
