Job description

Accounting Clerk (Full-Time)
Location: Murray, UT
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Status: Hourly (Non-Exempt)

EMI Health has served members since 1935 and is known for award-winning customer service and a supportive workplace culture. We’re hiring an Accounting Clerk to help with everyday accounting tasks and keep financial records accurate and organized.

What You’ll Do
  • Enter and process accounts payable invoices
  • Confirm approvals and enter vouchers accurately
  • Create and manage check batches
  • Help process monthly commission payments and verify premiums
  • Support IRS paperwork (W-9 and 1099 forms)
  • Prepare and distribute Form 5500 Schedule A information sheets
  • Use Excel and accounting software for tracking and reporting
  • Provide general clerical support to the accounting team as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Associate degree or higher in Accounting/Finance (preferred)
  • 2+ years of accounting or office clerical experience (preferred)
  • Accounts payable and/or commission processing experience (a plus)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables/advanced functions preferred)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
