Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage a diverse portfolio of critical initiatives within the Connected Living Solutions (CLS) Business Unit. This strategic role encompasses three key areas: (1) managing AI/ML application development and deployment, (2) coordinating product certification programs and supporting technical leaders in improving relationships with external certification agencies, and (3) driving corporate-driven and BU independent special engineering initiatives.

The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, delivering high-impact solutions that advance our engineering capabilities, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive organizational excellence. This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance innovation, compliance, and operational improvement while managing change across the organization.

Key Responsibilities AI Application Portfolio Management (40%)
  • Lead end-to-end project management for AI/ML application development, deployment, and maintenance within CLS BU
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive roadmaps for AI initiatives aligned with business objectives and engineering priorities
  • Coordinate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria
  • Develop simple no-code or low-code AI solutions and LLM agent tools to address engineering workflows and automation needs
  • Monitor AI application performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage resource allocation, budgets, and timelines across multiple concurrent AI projects
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership
Product Certification Project Management (30%)
  • Facilitate product certification projects across various industry standards (UL, CSA, VDE, etc.), coordinating between internal & external teams to drive for on-time and on-cost product certifications
  • Coordinate and support CLS BU certification technical leaders in driving process improvements and strengthening relationships with external certification agencies
Special Engineering Initiatives (30%)
  • Lead corporate-driven and BU independent strategic engineering initiatives and improvement projects within the CLS engineering organization
  • Manage change management processes for new tools, methodologies, or process improvements
  • Coordinate innovation pilots, proof-of-concept projects, and retrospectives
  • Drive adoption of best practices in project management and engineering processes
Job Requirements
  • Evaluating project engineering designs and tracking project completion within budget and scheduling constraints.
  • Reviewing reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address execution problems.
  • Participating in the development of project schedules, work plans, technical estimates, and design documents.
  • Monitoring project health, safety and integrity through compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of project management experience in engineering or technology environments
    • 2+ years managing AI/ML projects or data-driven technology initiatives
    • Proven experience with product certification processes (UL, CSA, IEC, or similar)
    • Demonstrated experience in change management, including planning, execution, and adoption of organizational changes
  • Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Understanding of AI/ML concepts, applications, and deployment methodologies
    • Familiarity with product compliance and certification requirements
    • Knowledge of engineering development processes and product lifecycle management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the connector, sensor, or electronics manufacturing industry
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, PROSCI, ADKAR, or other formal change management methodologies
  • Understanding of GenAI applications and LLM integration in enterprise environments
  • Ability to develop simple no-code/low-code solutions or work with LLM agent platforms
  • Previous experience working with certification agencies (UL, TÜV, CSA, etc.) to drive process improvements

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $118,200 - $177,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
