Salary: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour based on a 35 hour workweek

POSITIONSUMMARY:
This position reports tothe Enrollment Operations Manager in the Enrollment Operations and StudentServices department and supports the administrative functions within EnrollmentManagement. This employee will be expected to perform a number of vital rolesbased on the graduate and undergraduate admission cycle. Tasks will include,but are not limited to, managing the application and admission credentialprocess for graduate admissions, undergraduate admissions, and financial aid;mail receipt and sorting, scanning and indexing documents, and data-entry. This individual is responsible for theperformance of advanced assignments and special projects in support of theEnrollment Management Group. Administrative work requiring initiative andindependent judgement. Maintenance of confidential information while ensuringthe efficient operation of the office of Enrollment Management.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position reports to the EnrollmentOperations Manager in the Enrollment Operations and Student Services departmentand supports the administrative functions within Enrollment Management.Thisemployee will be expected to perform a number of vital roles based on thegraduate and undergraduate admission cycle. Tasks will include, but are not limitedto, managing the application and admission credential process for graduateadmissions, undergraduate admissions, and financial aid; mail receipt andsorting, scanning and indexing documents, and data-entry. This individual is responsible for the performanceof advanced assignments and special projects in support of the EnrollmentManagement Group.
Administrative work requiring initiative and independentjudgement. Maintenance of confidential information while ensuring the efficientoperation of the office of Enrollment Management.
Assists with the optimization andadministration of the enrollment systems, including, but not limited toTechnolutions Slate and Ellucian Banner.
Researches and resolves processing issues within Slate.Manage enrollment operations of student employees.
Provides assistance with inquiry and application data entryand related tasks for undergraduate admissions and financial aid. Supportsoperational and processing effectiveness for the entire enrollment division (UndergraduateAdmissions, Graduate Admissions, Financial Aid, Enrollment Marketing andCommunications, Military and Veterans Services).
Helps manage and administer system requests on a dailybasis for all aspects of enrollment management.
Participates in special admissionevents, such as DUQ days and Accepted Student Days.
Performs other related duties asassigned to support the functions of a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Supervises student employees only.
Completes other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
High SchoolDiploma or equivalent.
1 - 3 years of experience.
Minimum 1 year of experiencein admissions or student services at the college/university level or closelyrelated environment dealing with the public.
Preferred qualifications:
Associate's degree in business or related field from an accredited educational institution.
Alternatively, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combinationof experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilitiesrequired to perform the essential job functions.This includes, but is notlimited to, the following:
Strong communication skills, both oral andwritten.
Attention todetail and accuracy while multi-tasking.
Strongorganization skills.
Knowledge of PCand Microsoft Office Software; familiarity with Slate and Banner preferred.
Data entry,scanning and indexing.
Ability to makedecisions in accordance with established policies.
Ability to beproactive, strategic and deadline-oriented in a complex organization.
Professionaldemeanor with the ability to deal with people in a courteous and tactful mannerregardless of circumstances.
Ability to exceedrecruitment goals, facilitate staff development opportunities, exhibitteamwork, model analytical & critical thinking, engage in creative problemsolving and demonstrate high levels of time management and organizationalskills.
