Our Purpose:

The Finance & Accounting Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is a three-day immersive leadership summit designed to introduce rising juniors pursuing a degree/ concentration in Accounting or Finance to Boston Scientific's Finance organization. The program provides a comprehensive view of our business units, financial functions, and corporate culture through a curated mix of leadership development, networking, and team-building experiences.

Participants will also have an opportunity to interview for the Summer 2027 Finance Internship Program, which serves as a vital step in our talent pipeline leading to potential full-time roles in the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) after graduation.

Program Highlights:

Finance Internship Opportunity:

On the final day of the summit, participants will have the opportunity to interview for the Summer 2027 Finance Internship. This internship is a critical step in our development pipeline, designed to lead to full-time opportunities in the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). The path includes:

    1. Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)
    2. Finance Summer Internship
    3. Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP)

Required Qualifications:  

  • Rising juniors with Accounting or Finance majors/ concentrations from an accredited college.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be able to commit to dates of August 4-6, 2026. 
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the Marlborough, MA, Boston Scientific location.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Effective time management and organization abilities.
  • Exhibit interest in accounting, finance, other business functions, and healthcare/medical technology.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
