Requirements
- License: New York RN license (in hand)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- EMR: Epic experience required
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including both adult and pediatric populations.
- Perform essential procedures such as IV starts, phlebotomy, and central line care.
- Administer blood products and manage medications including IV vasopressors and sedation.
- Participate in the management of multi-system organ dysfunction and respond to acute situations effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Compliance / Notes
- Mandatory competencies: phlebotomy and IV placement required for all RNs.
- RTO submission rule: cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days of RTO.
- Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white.
