Embroidery Operator 2nd Shift
As an Embroidery Machine Operator you are responsible for operating a multi-head industrial embroidery machine, ensuring high-quality embroidery on headwear while meeting daily production metrics. This position reports to the Embroidery Supervisor, with performance monitored by both the Production Manager and the Embroidery Supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Embroider front, side, and rear locations on Legacy, Locale, and Ouray headwear, maintaining precise attention to detail for each placement.
  2. Operate a Barudan 15-head embroidery machine, including reading work orders, programming and loading the machine, troubleshooting embroidery issues, performing basic machine maintenance (cleaning, oiling, threading needles), and monitoring bobbin tensions.
  3. Hoop 200-450 hats per shift, depending on experience and type of work.
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of thread types and colors, headwear styles, and embellishment techniques.
  5. Recognize and ensure high-quality work, including accurate logo placement, applique positioning, and consistent embroidery quality.
  6. Adhere to safety standards and report any safety concerns to management.
  7. Communicate questions or concerns promptly to the floor lead or supervisor.
