Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The embroidery assistant will be responsible for assisting and following the embroidery technician's instructions to fulfill quality and timely embroidery orders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Bags and tags finished products and reporting accurate counts.
  • Assists with machine setup following all safety and company policy procedures.
  • Assists with machine breakdown following all safety and company policy procedures.
  • Performs general cleanup of machinery and area around station in accordance with safety and company policy procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Years of experience: One year

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Follow standard procedures and quality standards with attention to detail.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Execute tasks according to specified guidelines and timelines.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Regular walking and standing
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
  • Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
