About the role
The Embroidery Assistant is responsible for executing decoration finishing procedures efficiently and in alignment with Brand Junkie's quality standards. This role supports the production team by ensuring embroidered products meet established specifications and presentation expectations.
The Embroidery Assistant position operates on one of two scheduled shifts: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
What you'll do
  • Cut excess material (backing) and trim excess threads off finished products.
  • Marks items with defects such as spots, stains, or snags and communicates with supervisor to rectify issues.
  • Steams decorated items to remove hoop marks.
  • Performs final quality checks in adherence to Brand Junkie quality standards.
  • Separates and packs finished products in an organized manner with packing slips when applicable.
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or embroidery environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
  • Ability to operate machinery and tools used in the trimming and finishing processes.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices.

The pay range for this role is:
14 - 16 USD per hour (Cypress - Annex)
