Job Title: Temporary Designer
Location: New York, NY

Role Overview


Stoney Clover Lane is seeking a Assistant Designer to support the Design team during a high-volume period. This role will contribute to the design and execution of handbags and accessories from concept through development, ensuring alignment with brand standards and timelines.


What You’ll Do


• Concept and design products from start to finish, including artwork and hardware development
• Create prints, graphics, embroidery, and embellishment layouts for handbags, accessories, and patches
• Partner with Founders and Design team to develop seasonal concepts, materials, and color direction
• Ensure all design details are clearly handed off to Product Development within deadlines
• Maintain design integrity and ensure high-quality execution across all products
• Research trends, shop market, and identify relevant design opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support development timelines and deliverables


What You Bring


• Open to fresh grads or 1-2 years of experience designing handbags and/or accessories
• Strong understanding of materials, hardware, leather, and construction
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to create technical sketches and design layouts
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
