Social Work Therapy Intern (Paid Internship)
Internship Term: 2026-2027

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is Greater Cincinnati’s leading non-profit specializing in education, behavioral and therapeutic health services, and autism services for vulnerable, at-risk youth, their families, and caregivers. What You’ll Do

As a Social Work Therapy Intern, you will work under the supervision of an independently licensed counselor or social worker to provide mental health services tailored to children and families. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain experience in multiple settings and learn best practices in clinical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy (agency-based and community-based)
  • Develop treatment plans and facilitate interventions
  • Complete diagnostic assessments and evaluate client progress
  • Assist with crisis management and stabilization
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community resources
  • Attend supervision and professional development trainings
What We’re Looking For
  • Current enrollment in a Master’s program in Social Work
  • Certification SWT required
  • Strong commitment to cultural awareness and best practice models
