Job description

Revenue Analyst

Location: Embassy Suites La Jolla

Compensation: $70,304 annually (Full-Time, Exempt)

On-site Role

About the Role

Embassy Suites La Jolla is looking for a detail-oriented Revenue Analyst to join our Revenue Management team. Reporting to the Director of Revenue, you'll turn data from STR, Demand360, Agency360, and other industry tools into the insights that shape our pricing and yield strategy. If you love working with numbers, spotting trends early, and helping a hotel make faster, smarter decisions, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports — market segmentation, production, source contribution, and pick-up analysis

  • Keep rates, inventory, and system data accurate across our PMS, CRS, RMS, and Sales & Catering systems

  • Track group pick-up and partner with Sales on upcoming booking cut-offs

  • Monitor competitors and market trends through shop reports and market research

  • Build the rolling 14-day staffing forecast and support broader short- and long-term forecasting

  • Analyze local events and estimate their impact on demand

  • Prepare materials for, and participate in, weekly Revenue Management meetings

  • Provide administrative support to the Revenue Management team, and step in for the Director of Revenue as needed

  • Turn STR, Demand360, OTA Insights, and other industry reports into new revenue opportunities

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 1+ year of experience in hospitality, ideally in hotel revenue or hotel management

  • Working knowledge of industry tools like STR, Demand360, and OTA Insights

  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

  • Sharp attention to detail with reliable follow-through

  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication

  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Good to Know

  • This is an on-site position based in San Diego, CA

  • Schedule flexibility is needed; occasional long hours may be required

  • The role involves light physical activity, including occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

We invest in our team members and offer a well-rounded benefits package:

  • Competitive salary within the posted range
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and company-observed holidays
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Hotel discounts
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • HSA & FSA options
  • Short- and long-term disability insurance
  • Pet wellness benefits
  • Professional development and career advancement opportunities

Equal Opportunity

Embassy Suites La Jolla is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
