JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Email Developer for one of Toronto's largest financial institutions. The Email Developer (Marketing Automation – SFMC) will primarily develop multiple emails and web pages. The Digital & Direct Executions team, part of the broader Marketing organization, aims to leverage customer data and insights to deliver meaningful communications to customers, with a significant focus on Marketing Automation. This hands-on role involves building new emails, web pages, and SMS within SFMC, adhering to best practices, and optimizing existing emails and web pages.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns, web pages, and SMS using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop email templates and content.
  • Manage standardized email templates, including upkeep, enhancements, and testing.
  • Provide expertise in setting up data integration points to support Marketing Automation journeys across multiple channels, including email, digital push notifications, and online advertising.
  • Ensure that all email campaigns are optimized for deliverability and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with email marketing trends and best practices.
  • Develop and implement processes for in-house campaign execution.
  • Execute quality assurance on developed work and collaborate with the quality team to ensure that all email campaigns meet quality standards.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Be a self-starter who can take the initiative to develop new processes.
  • Demonstrate relentless curiosity to apply and test new capabilities, such as A/B testing and optimizations.
  • Ability to execute multiple campaigns concurrently. Needs to be good under pressure and open to feedback.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email development
  • 2+ years of experience working with responsive HTML Emails, CSS and CSS Media Queries. This includes building/updating content templates and module blocks.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Ampscript within SFMC to build dynamic email content.
  • Experience in Email Studio, CloudPage Studio, and Mobile Studio.
  • Working knowledge of Data Extensions, Journey Builder, and Automation Studios.
  • Working email testing knowledge of Litmus or Email on Acid.
  • Has the ability to troubleshoot and resolve email rendering issues on multiple email clients/devices.
  • Good understanding of working with data and creating testing data using Microsoft Excel and SFMC.
  • Experience with AmpScript, SQL, Email HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
