To address this, developers typically use inline styles, tables for layout, and test across multiple platforms and devices using tools like Litmus or Email on Acid. Staying up to date with client-specific quirks and best practices is essential, as is collaborating closely with designers and marketers to align on feasible design elements. Proactively addressing these challenges helps ensure a consistent and accessible experience for all users.

What Is the Job of an Email Developer?

An email developer designs and builds email blasts for clients and marketing teams. In this career, your duties primarily revolve around creating templates in HTML. This involves having an eye for visual design as well as the technical capability for coding. When coding the email, you have to account for a variety of different browsers, text options, and email clients, which makes it a very different task than coding a web page. Furthermore, you need to be aware of the limits of the email service provider your organization is using, and you must stay up-to-date with any new regulations regarding spam and industry standards regarding HTML.
