Job Summary
Job Description
Position Objective:
Co-develop and execute sales strategy and identify customer needs and sell appropriate products to meet those needs to the Key Account. Prepare order details for hand off to an internal account manager.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned key account and maintain communication with production facility
  • Be the face of EPGA to key account
  • Prepare quotes and related documents for customer
  • Secure orders taking into consideration specific customer needs
  • Communications with Internal Account Managers and Customers requiring resolutions to any quality or invoicing problems

  • Keep accurate documentation of orders, accounts, issues, etc.
  • Travels to call on customer to solicit orders, develop new products and stay on top of the market needs and changes.
  • Also contact customers by telephone or email. Communication skills are critical.
  • Determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, to accommodate goals of company.
  • Represents company at trade association meetings and product trade shows to promote product and develop customer relationships.
  • Promote Nidec "3 NEW" & growth mindset.
  • Monitor profit. Lead efforts to improve margins when needed through price increases or cost reduction.
  • Communicate regularly with management on gaps to be managed to continue successful track
  • Provide feedback on competitive activities in sales, manufacturing, personnel, price actions, product development.

Experience/Skills:
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • 8-10 years selling experience to large OEMs. Engineering, Project Management, 6 Sigma or other quality programs experience

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) Business or Engineering
