The therapist will engage with clients through virtual sessions, using secure telehealth platforms that ensure confidentiality and convenience. Collaboration and communication with colleagues take place through regular team meetings and secure messaging channels, ensuring you have ample support and resources at your disposal.

• Establish and nurture positive, trusting relationships with clients to enhance engagement in therapeutic processes.
• Conduct thorough assessments and establish accurate diagnoses for mental health disorders, ensuring an evidence-based approach to treatment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans tailored specifically to meet the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
• Facilitate effective therapy sessions, including individual and couple's counseling, and lead group therapy as appropriate.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments of clients’ progress, taking into account their feedback and changing circumstances.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to coordinate referrals and ensure holistic care for clients needing additional support or specialized services.
• Remain informed about current best practices and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills.

The patients you will counsel at Ellie Counseling Center range from individuals to families dealing with a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and co-occurring disorders. Your work will contribute significantly to enhancing their quality of life by offering tools and strategies that promote healthy coping mechanisms and interpersonal communication skills.

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices, particularly regarding substance abuse and mental health treatments.

• Training or professional experience in the domain of addiction counseling.
• Proven ability to motivate clients to adhere to treatment plans and make meaningful lifestyle changes.
• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of culturally competent therapeutic practices.

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
