IT Account Manager and Client Partner
Alpharetta, GA (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are looking for a customer-focused and growth-oriented Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strengthening client relationships, identifying business growth opportunities, coordinating with delivery and pre-sales teams, and ensuring successful execution of client engagements. This role will play a key part in driving account expansion through cross-selling and upselling KR Elixir's Cloud, Data & AI, ERP/CRM, and Digital Engineering services while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts by developing strong, long-term relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion through cross-selling and upselling IT Services across Cloud, Data & AI, ERP/CRM, Digital Engineering, and Application Development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring responsiveness and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with Delivery, Pre-Sales, Solution Architects, and Leadership teams to develop client-specific solutions.
  • Support the complete sales lifecycle for existing accounts, including opportunity identification, proposal coordination, commercial discussions, and contract renewals.
  • Assist in responding to RFIs, RFPs, and client proposals in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor account health, delivery milestones, customer satisfaction, and potential business risks while driving timely issue resolution.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and business meetings to understand evolving client priorities and identify future opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, account forecasts, and customer interactions using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Coordinate internally to ensure seamless project transitions from sales to delivery and successful execution of engagements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for strategic account growth.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 7 12 years of experience in Account Management, Client Relationship Management, Business Development, or IT Services Sales.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise or mid-market accounts within an IT Services or Technology Consulting organization.
  • Experience selling one or more of the following service areas: Cloud, Data & Analytics, AI, Digital Engineering, ERP/CRM, Application Development, or Managed Services.
  • Demonstrated success in growing existing accounts through cross-selling, upselling, renewals, and client retention.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Delivery, Pre-Sales, and Technical teams to develop customer-centric solutions.
  • Good understanding of commercial models, including Time & Material (T&M), Fixed Price, and Managed Services.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar tools for opportunity and pipeline management.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business engagements as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Global Capability Centers (GCCs), Enterprise Accounts, or Fortune 1000 organizations.
  • Exposure to Digital Transformation, Cloud Migration, AI initiatives, or Data Modernization programs.
  • Understanding of IT consulting delivery models and software development lifecycles.
  • Certifications in Sales, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), or CRM tools will be an added advantage.
