Job Summary:
ClifyX is seeking Postgre SQL/Heroku Developers for a critical backfill opportunity with Humana. The role requires expertise in PostgreSQL and experience in relational database development, primarily focusing on performance tuning, data modeling, and SQL operations.
Responsibilities:
• Minimum 2 years in PostgreSQL (must be recent experience) and 5+ years of development experience as database developer on relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, Sybase)
• Understanding of data types in Postgres
• SQLs (Select, Insert, Update, Delete, Joins, Where, Group by)
• Functions (pre-built and user defined)
• Data Import / Export
• Ability to create physical data model & indexes
• Performance tuning and designing for performance (Index design and usage)
• Understanding of transactions / Unit of work concept
• Postgres Security, Backup and recovery
• Understanding of Salesforce is a plus
• Background in Healthcare is a plus
