Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Service Technician to serve as a primary service resource for our contractors and direct service customers. This technician will perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, startups, and ongoing system maintenance for VRF equipment across commercial applications. The role combines field service work with close collaboration alongside our elite technical support team and direct access to factory-level resources and training.
This is a true service position for technicians who enjoy complex problem-solving, hands-on repairs, and working with top-tier VRF technology.
Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of commercial VRF systems
  • Provide service support to installing contractors and direct service customers
  • Execute startups, commissioning, and performance verification for new VRF installations alongside our technical support team.
  • Maintain and service HVAC equipment in company-owned facilities
  • Handle warranty-related service work, repairs, and documentation
  • Work closely with internal technical support staff
  • Utilize technical documentation, software tools, and diagnostic resources
  • Communicate findings clearly to customers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports
  • Travel locally and regionally to customer job sites as required
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills in refrigeration, electrical systems, and controls
  • Ability to interpret complex wiring diagrams, piping layouts, and control schematics
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
