About Us

Elite Driving School is a licensed and insured New York driving school dedicated to providing safe, patient, and high-quality instruction. We are expanding and looking for reliable, professional instructors to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a patient, friendly, and dependable Driving Instructor to teach new driversโ€”especially teensโ€”the skills needed to become safe and confident on the road. Training is available for candidates who meet requirements but are new to the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide behind-the-wheel driving lessons to students of varying skill levels
  • Maintain a safe and calm learning environment, especially with teen drivers
  • Follow NYS DMV guidelines and school policies
  • Demonstrate proper driving techniques, rules, and defensive-driving practices
  • Complete lesson notes and communicate student progress
  • Safely operate and maintain the school vehicle

Requirements

  • Must be 21 or older with a valid New York State Driver License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be patient and comfortable working with teens
  • Ability to work morning or evening shifts
  • Willing to drive in Nassau or Suffolk County
  • Prior driving school experience preferred, but training is available
