Job description
Wynter, 14, is an artist and does not love doing school work independently. He is very bright and ADD. Our ideal person would be interested in helping him stay focused to knock things out after school, so experience dealing with kids and homework on some level would be ideal. He is in gifted and special ed for mild Autism andADD. Elin, 9, happily does her homework and will sit and do it when prompted. She does not have any diagnoses. Getting a snack for them would be great. That can mean CFA or a snack at the house. The biggest thing is that ASFA gets out at 3:15 and we do not get off work before 5. If Elin's volleyball schedule is earlier in the afternoon, I would need help getting her to Homewood for that and either staying or hanging out at a coffee shop with Wynter doing homework, etc. until she gets out. Being prompt getting the kids is a must. Having said that, the overall wellbeing of the kids is everything, so an empathetic and encouraging personality would be the best fit for us. We are super flexible but do believe in communication when plans need to change. I am looking for someone who is responsible, values kindness, is empathetic and aims to be a positive force for good.
