Job Summary

Cibes Symmetry is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop and grow its residential elevator and accessibility solutions business throughout the Manassas and Northern Virginia market. This consultative sales role is responsible for building relationships with homeowners, builders, architects, designers, contractors, and developers while managing custom projects from initial consultation through completion.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys prospecting, developing new business, and guiding customers through customized solutions. Success in this role requires confidence in the field, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to learn and communicate technical product information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a sales territory throughout the Manassas and Northern Virginia market.
  • Develop relationships with custom home builders, remodelers, architects, designers, contractors, developers, and homeowners.
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, job site visits, and industry relationships.
  • Follow up on inbound website and consultation leads as assigned.
  • Conduct in-home consultations and property evaluations.
  • Educate customers on residential elevators, stair lifts, accessibility lifts, mobility products, and light-duty commercial accessibility solutions.
  • Recommend customized solutions based on customer needs, site conditions, accessibility requirements, and project goals.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and customer presentations.
  • Manage customer relationships throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, customer notes, and sales pipeline activity.
  • Utilize Salesforce as part of the company's sales process once implemented.
  • Stay engaged with customers throughout installation and payment milestones.
  • Consistently work toward monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, job sites, networking events, and industry functions.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and build customer relationships.

Work Environment / Schedule
  • This is a hybrid, field-based sales position serving the Manassas and Northern Virginia territory. The schedule is Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with flexibility as needed to accommodate customer meetings, consultations, project schedules, and networking opportunities. The role involves frequent local travel, in-home consultations, job site visits, and occasional office or showroom collaboration.
