Salary: $32/hr to $60/hr, based on proven skills & experience

Delaware Elevator of Virginia has an immediate opening for skilled Elevator Service Technicians to maintain, service, and repair elevators throughout the Norfolk and Virginia Beach region. If youre a licensed professional who takes pride in precision, safety, and customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you.


What Youll Do

As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and reliable vertical transportation systems across private and public facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair, maintain, adjust, and test mechanical and electrical elevator systems
  • Diagnose performance issues and determine root causes quickly and accurately
  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
  • Respond to service calls, including customer emergencies and entrapments
  • Participate in a scheduled after-hours on-call rotation
  • Work independently to meet customer needs efficiently and professionally
  • Travel as needed (occasional overnight stays possible)
  • Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and equipment handling as required

Apprentices will not be scheduled independently for on-call rotations until educational and demonstrated skill requirements are met.
