TK Elevator is currently seeking Elevator Technicians for the Houston area. You will be responsible for the successful completion of work aligned with Service, Repair, New Installation and/ or Modernization while meeting both customer expectations and profitability measures.
  • Monitors and analyzes the function of mechanical and electrical components as necessary to troubleshoot, adjust or repair the equipment
  • Preforms preventative maintenance task including visually inspecting, manually cleaning and lubrication elevator systems and components in a controlled or non-controlled climate field setting.
  • Establishing and strengthening business relationships with owners, property managers, building engineers and union business agents is a key part of this job.

This is a safety sensitive position.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years related work experience as a mechanic or technician in a commercial setting.
  • Must have demonstrated strong mechanical reasoning and comprehension skills plus hands-on mechanical aptitude.
  • Relocation assistance may be considered.
  • This position requires the ability to be a self-starter and work independently with little supervision.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
