DESCRIPTION:
Rush-Henrietta is seeking an extended substitute school counselor from 9/1/26-11/20/26. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of early-childhood development - both academic and social-emotional - and the implementation of interventions that are matched to each child's needs. The successful candidates will be skilled at making strong connections with students, utilizing culturally responsive practices, and will demonstrate an ability to coordinate school and community resources for students and families to support student well-being.
SALARY:
Competitive, based on experience and graduate study,per the Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
QUALIFICATIONS:
New York State Certification as a School Counselor is required.
EFFECTIVE:
September 1, 2026
Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 25-27 is required.
