Paraprofessionals 

Preschool-5th Grade

Tentative Dates: The 2026-27 School Year Full-Time

Dover-Eyota Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for paraprofessional positions for the 20262027 school year. These positions will serve Preschool through 5th grade students with Special Education Services.

Position Details

  • Position: Paraprofessionals
  • Employment: Full-Time
  • School Year: 20262027
  • Starting Salary: $16 an hour and more depending on experience
  • Application Deadline: August 9, 2026

Required Licensure

Applicants must have a two year college education, or be able to pass the paraprofessional state testing shortly after hiring.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the special education students PreK-5
  • Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction
  • Collaborate with staff and support teams
  • Work under the direction of the elementary principal
  • Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students
