Radiation Therapist (ARRT-R/ARRT-T) – 13-week travel contract in Lansing, Michigan. Seeking experienced Radiation Therapists for an acute care hospital and regional health system. Ideal candidates have ARRT certification, MOSAIQ and EPIC experience, and familiarity with Elekta linear accelerators and ViewRay systems.   • Position: Travel Radiation Therapist (Radiation Oncology) – Hospital setting
  • Location: Lansing, MI (48912) — acute care hospital; Lansing, Michigan work opportunity
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 15, 2026 – September 14, 2026)
  • Shift: Day shifts, 5x8-hour (typically 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM; may vary between 7:00/8:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM)
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Call Requirements: As needed (typically 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
  • Weekend Requirements: None
  • Number of Openings: 3 travel positions
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical or hospital radiation oncology setting
  • ARRT-R and ARRT-T certifications required (ARRT certified)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant training preferred
  • Prior travel therapist experience preferred (travel radiation therapist)
  • Proficiency with MOSAIQ documentation; EPIC experience preferred (training provided during orientation)
  • Experience with Elekta Versa HD / Elekta linear accelerators and ViewRay systems preferred
  • Ability to assist with intracavity/interstitial administration, compute dose distribution, and perform simulation of treatment sites
  • Billing experience for treatment types and devices preferred
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety standards
  • All requested time off must be submitted at application (maximum 5 days per contract)
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments to adult and geriatric patients in a hospital radiation oncology department
  • Support a busy clinic averaging ~20 patient visits per day; work as a travel radiation therapist within a regional health system
  • Operate Elekta linear accelerators and ViewRay systems for external beam therapy and document treatments in MOSAIQ/EPIC
  • Perform simulation of treatment sites, assist with custom molds, and compute dose distributions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretaries to optimize patient care
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions at all times
