Job description

Blue Line Engineering has an immediate opening for a full-time electronics Test Technician. Our Test Technician (TT) executes test procedures and troubleshoots problems in both analog and digital systems. Blue Lineโ€™s TTs draft reports and manuals that describe how to use the various systems and devices used by Blue Line. Blue Lineโ€™s TTs also ensure the equipment used is in proper calibration. Our TTs are responsible to the Lead Test Engineer for work prioritization and adherence to test procedures.

Electronics Test Technician Responsibilities:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Must consistently follow step-by-step set-up and test procedures for both analog and digital electronic products for ground, airborne and space-based applications;

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Build, document, and maintain test fixtures and cable harnesses as needed;

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Help draft user manuals and test procedures for new products;

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Use a variety of tools and techniques to perform work on electronic systems;

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Attend regular workshops and training sessions to maintain technical competency;

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Aid with regular lab maintence and organization;

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Take on additional reponsibilites as required.

Electronics Test Technician Requirements:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Certification in electronics by the U.S. military, or other equivalent certification; an Associateโ€™s Degree (or greater) in electronics from a certified civilian technical school is highly desired;

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Must have at least 2 years of experience testing or repairing/calibrating electronic systems;

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience in testing both analog and digital systems is highly desired;

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Must be a U.S. citizen.
