Job Summary

YAGEO Group is seeking a Regional Head of Logistics for Americas Region.  This position reports to the Head of Global Logistics.  The ideal candidate holds a technical bachelor’s degree with analyst leadership. Main target for this role is to ensure efficient, cost-effective management of the logistics network in Americas Continent at a Corporate Level and timely delivery of goods. This is an onsite role. 

Key Responsibilities

Ensure efficient, cost-effective management of the logistics network in Americas Continent at a Corporate Level and timely delivery of goods. This position reports to Head of Global Logistics, with 3 direct reports.

  • Logistics Commodity Manager for Americas. Negotiation, Definition, Management & Review of Regional contracts/agreements. KPI control and QBRs for all related regional business, all FG lanes originated in Americas + all RM lanes with destination Americas + logistics platforms in Dallas, Brownsville, Guadalajara, Louisville, Monterrey (MX), San Paolo (BR)
  • Management of shipments schedule for RM and FG to/from Americas YAGEO plants and hubs and related IT development (tracking system, PO management, etc.)
  • Responsibility on outsourced YAGEO distribution hubs
  • Savings projects and Special projects non- strictly related to Americas.
  • Worldwide Export Compliance System, CTPAT, ITAR control.
  • Logistics tables maintenance in Logistics Systems
  • Inventory control at YAGEO hubs
  • Cost budgeting, control, allocation
  • Periodical reporting

Required Qualifications

  • Technical bachelor’s degree or master’s degree
  • 5 years related experience in Supply Chain/Logistics
  • Basic knowledge of import-export, especially MX/US border crossing operations, cost control, export compliance
  • Excellent knowledge of English, optional: Spanish
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems independently and make results-driven decisions.

Systems Skills:

  • Oracle E-Business Suite
  • AS400, SAP
