Job description

Job Description:
This position is responsible for managing the RFQ (request for quotation) process as well as new vendor set up and PPV (published price variance)/Re-quote claims.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage quarterly RFQ process for the site with both domestic and oversea suppliers.
    • Drive for cost saving and MOQ (minimum order quantity)/MPQ (minimum package quantity) and Lead Time optimization.
    • Validate/document all RFQ information from suppliers, complete quotation reports and submit all pricing for customer's approval timely.
  • Set up new vendors by working with the Legal and Finance departments.
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP (enterprise resource planning) system and ensure data compliance between internal and external systems.
  • Issue quarterly Schedule Agreement for the site.
  • Assist with resolution of pricing discrepancy and GR (goods received) issues.
  • Identify opportunities and work to get approval from customers for PPV (published price variance)/Re-quote.
  • Work with logistic team on shipment freight estimation
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required, including v-lookup and pivot tables
  • Bilingual in Mandarin preferred
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of purchasing or commodity management preferred
  • Contract electronic manufacturing experience is a plus.
