About the Opportunity:
  • For this role, you will float between SMT, Post Wave, and Assembly.
  • Assemble chassis, racks, and other final assembly hardware, and install finished assemblies or subassemblies in them.
  • Operate equipment and tools relative to accomplishing assembly, stuffing, and prep of prefabricated electronic assemblies and other electromechanical components.
  • Adjust or trim materials or hardware to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.

What You'll Do:
  • Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies.
  • Determines and follows methods and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding, and fitting on assembly units.
  • SMT Machine Operators are responsible for the setup, changeover, operation, and daily maintenance of complex SMT equipment and all associated tooling.
  • SMT Machine Operators may also perform SMT Kitting and Assembler/Tester functions, including, but not limited to, assembling parts, prepping parts, various assembly testing, soldering, loading/unloading SMT feeders, and part counting/estimating.
  • Follow instructions on lot travelers, operation instructions, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and sample assemblies, and follow verbal instructions to determine specific duties relative to assembly.

What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly.
  • J-Std or IPC-610 certification.
What Sets You Apart:
  • 1+ years of experience in soldering.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Must be able to lift to 25lbs and sit and stand for long periods of time.
