Job description

Avery Partners is seeking a skilled Electronic Security Technician for a company in Denver, CO. The Electronic Security Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic security, access control, and CCTV equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system cabling, access control systems installation, Intrusion detection systems installation, CCTV systems installation. Applicants who have a strong verifiable background in system configuration and programming is a plus.


Job Duties

- Install, maintain, and repair electronic security, access control, and CCTV equipment and systems

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with security, access control, and CCTV devices

- Test and calibrate electronic components and systems

- Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to perform tasks

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

- Provide technical support to customers and clients

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in electronic technology


MUST HAVE skills

  • Proven experience as an electronics Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems and components
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Ability to detect and resolve electronic malfunctions
  • Experience with Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Bosch and DMP preferred
  • Experience with computer networking is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clean Motor Vehicle and Background checks
