Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with expertise in residential settings. This role requires knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Senior Electrician will lead projects, mentor junior electricians, and ensure all electrical installations meet safety standards and regulations. Electrical license is not required but preferred.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with NEC standards.

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and voltmeters to perform electrical tasks efficiently.

Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or issues.

Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.

Provide guidance and training to junior electricians and apprentices.

Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.

Ensure that all work is performed safely and adheres to company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in residential environments.

Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices.

Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.

Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus.
