A warehouse manager for Capital Electric is responsible for managing the overall logistical operation of the Capital HUB including departments; receiving, shipping delivery and product storage/inventory to ensure the daily flow of material in and out of the warehouse is completed with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, order picking, shipping, and delivery coordination.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and proper storage practices.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse associates to ensure safe, efficient workflow.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Collaborate with branches and internal teams to meet service and delivery expectations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‐solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
- Familiarity with warehouse systems, RF scanning, and safe forklift operation (certification preferred).
