General Summary:

The Purchasing Manager will lead the centralized purchasing operations across all Ace Electric Divisions. The Purchasing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic purchasing and procurement processes and procedures for project-direct buyouts, company-wide commodity purchasing, rebate programs, tool procurement, hardware procurement, rental equipment management, and vendor partnerships.

The Purchasing Manager will lead the purchasing team and procurement workflows to ensure materials, equipment, and services are acquired efficiently and timely according to project schedules. This role will work closely with Division Vice President/Division Mangers, Project Managers, Operations Managers, Accounting, Logistics Managers, Logistics Coordinators and Field Leadership to optimize costs, improve vendor relationship, standardize procurement processes, and maximize purchasing leverage company-wide.

  • Ability to maintain required levels of confidentiality when entrusted with sensitive business, customer, or employee related information.

Position Requirements:

  • License:Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.

    • Minimum 5 years of strategic purchasing experience in the electrical construction industry.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership or management position.
